Francis X. Hesketh, Jr.

Francis X. Hesketh, Jr., 56 of Kearny, NJ passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 in the company of his loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 3 to 7 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Cecilia Church, Kearny on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will be private.

A graduate of St. Peter’s University, Frank was employed as a technical recruiter at RMS Computer Corp in New York City.

 Frank was a loving father, son, brother and uncle.  He is survived by his parents, Francis and Carol (nee Baillie) Hesketh; his cherished daughter, Darcy Hesketh; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Maureen and Joseph Dean and Theresa and John Halligan; his nieces and nephews, Bridget and Kathleen Dean and Benjamin and Jack Hallligan; many loving cousins, and his dear Aunt Marge. Frank was predeceased by his beloved brother, Michael.

A sports enthusiast, Frank was a virtual encyclopedia of all sports and could detail background history of his favorite athletes and events effortlessly. Frankie had a zest for life! His generosity of spirit and contagious laughter were enjoyed by all, especially his friends since Kindergarten, Bernie Marazzo, Paul O’Hare and Kevin Hahn. To his “Cub”, Darcy, the joy of his heart, he was her “Bear”. Think of Frank whenever you hear a Stones, Stewart, or Springsteen song, or a random Catholic hymn. He brought smiles, laughter and spirit to all of us who knew him. We loved him so, and he is permanent in our hearts.
