Evan Angelo George, 66 passed away suddenly on Friday, May 19, 2017.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. A funeral mass will be offered at St. Stephen's Church, Kearny at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 10

Evan Angelo George was born in San Francisco, California, to John and Julia George, and he spent most of his early childhood in Astoria. He had a happy childhood, and was an amazing son who was always there for his mother and father. When his father was sick with his heart troubles, he was by his side, and supported his mother. He never left their side until he got married and started a family of his own.

Growing up, he discovered that he had an interest in psychology, and eventually received a PhD from St. John's University before opening up his own practice. He had a successful career, first as a psychologist with his own practice, and later, after he met his beloved wife Christine, as a property managing landlord of many tenants.

A whole new world opened up for him after he had met his wife. He would have two children with her, Alexander and Ariana, and he truly did love being a family man. He viewed his children as being his most valuable creation and accomplishment in his life, and loved them dearly. He would put them first when it came to making any important decisions, and did truly act in a way that reflected this. He was an everpresent guiding and supportive presence, and it is impossible to overstate the impact he had in raising each of them.

To the outside world, his humor is remembered by those who knew him as one of his defining qualities. He had a very magnetic personality. He would always try his very best to make people laugh, entertain them, and bring them together. He would often be known as the 'life of the party' wherever he would be for this reason. He was always making jokes and took a great and deep personal pleasure in making people's days happier and their lives better through his words. He would try his best to be a brightness in the days of those whose lives he would touch.

He also took great pleasure in, and is very well-remembered for, making people feel better through the advice and support that he would give them. He would love to give advice and help people with their problems. He would help guide his family all the time, acting as a guiding rock helping provide direction for them, and would frequently be contacted by friends and even strangers for advice on how they could deal with their problems in their lives, and also how they could generally feel better. It was likely his years of study in the field of psychology that helped him to be able to do this. He had greatly helped to improve the lives of many through his words, and he loved doing this.

All in all, it is a terrible tragedy that we have to say goodbye to him. He was a truly great person and he will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and those who knew him. The bond that he had with us was incredibly strong, and it still doesn't feel real to think that he's gone. He will be dearly, dearly missed.
