Carolann (Masino) Hotaling

Carolann Hotaling, (nee Masino), 56, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 in St. Michael’s Medical Center, Newark, NJ.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Monday at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington, NJ at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.

Carolann was born in Newark and was raised in Harrison, NJ. She later lived in North Caldwell for 30 years.

Ms. Hotaling worked at Johnston Communications in North Arlington for 30 years.

She is survived by her two sons, David and Frank Hotaling; her mother, Margaret (nee Boyd) Masino and two brothers, Gary Masino (Rita) and Frank Masino (Carol). She was the aunt of Andrea and Kristen Masino.

She was predeceased by her father, Frank Masino on February 28, 2018.

Carolann was the niece of Janet “Toots” MacDonald, (the late Paul), and Lynn Scocco (Tony), the late Elizabeth Haines (Jack), William Boyd, Jean Gray (Richard), Kathleen McGuire (Tom), Michael Boyd  and Tiny Gray (Ronald) and Butch Boyd.
