Albert J. Capella, 82, passed away on Sunday, March 12, at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive Kearny, NJ on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. A funeral mass will be offered in St. Cecilia Church, Kearny at 10:00 a.m. Cremation Rosedale Crematory, Orange, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Capella was born in Jersey City, NJ then lived in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for many years before moving to Kearny in 2010.

Albert was employed as a Die Cutter Operator for most of his life.

He is survived by his children, Joann Capella-Jimenez and Joseph A. Capella; one sister, Ida Troiano; one granddaughter, Mildred Marie Chang and one great-grandson, Fredrik London Chang.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred (Pacheco) Capella; his daughter Theresa Capella and one sister Marion Damone.
