Agnes "Lily" (Logan) Connolly

Agnes "Lily" Connolly (nee Logan), 82, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her home in Kearny, NJ.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny on Monday at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Cecilia Church, Kearny at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will be private.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Lily was born in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan, Ireland on Sept. 6, 1935 and came to Kearny in 1957.

She owned and operated Connolly's Bar in Kearny from 1962 until her retirement in 2013.

Ms. Connolly was named the 2002 Deputy Grand Marshall for the United Irish Association of West Hudson.

She is survived by three daughters, Marie Connolly and her boyfriend, Hughie Doyle; Jean Cowley and her husband, Edward and Loriann Malley and her husband John.

She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
