Zoraida Vega

Zoraida Vega, 72, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in St. Michael’s Medical Center, Newark, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 4 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ .

Ms. Vega was born in Puerto Rico. She later lived in Newark for forty years before moving to Irvington, NJ. She has lived in Kearny for the past 12 years.

She is survived by her husband, Teoflio Lorenzo; one daughter, Aida Monroig (Emilio); her siblings, Elena, Miriam and Charles Vega; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Zoraida was predeceased by her children, Elsie Muniz and Teoflio Lorenzo.
