Norma Hosker, (Siede), 95, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the First Presbyterian Church Of Arlington, 663 Kearny Avenue, Kearny, on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Elaine Connolly officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny. 

Norma was born and raised in Kearny. She then moved to North Arlington, NJ where she lived for 62 years before moving to the Job Haines Home in Bloomfield, NJ in 2013.

Mrs. Hosker was a Sales Associate at Hahne & Company in Newark, NJ for twelve years before retiring in 1985. Prior, she worked for Best Foods in their experimental kitchen for eight years.

As a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington, Mrs. Hosker served as a Deacon and Elder for many terms and also taught in the church school. She was also a member of the Canterbury Guild. She was a former Chaplin of Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.), New Barbadoes Neck Chapter, Kearny and a member of the North Arlington Seniors Tuesday Group.

Norma is survived by her niece, Linda Hosker Skillings and nephews, David and Stanley Siede and Robert Hosker.

She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Hosker and her nephew, Charles Siede.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Memorial Fund of the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington.
