Maureen Fitzgerald, 55, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Stephen’s Church, Kearny at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Maureen was a lifelong resident of Kearny.

She was a Registered Nurse at Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus, NJ

Ms. Fitzgerald is survived by one daughter, Katelynn Siegle and her fiancé Michael Sylvia and one son, Timothy Siegle. She was the grandmother of Charlotte Mackenzie Sylvia. She also leaves behind one sister, Peggy Siegle and nieces, Nichole Scott, Linda Kozdron, Karen Pichinin and one nephew Matthew Siegle.  Maureen was the long time companion of Jeffrey Martin.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Marie Fitzgerald and Kathy Scott.
