I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

To the Phillips family,
I have been retired from the KFD for 15 years and I would like to let you know that Chief Phillips was responsible for the the career I had. In 1977 he alone made a decision about hiring that moved my name to the top of a list that was about to expire . That decision has impacted my life to this day. My thanks to Chief Phillips and my condolences on his passing.
