Jose Huancaya

Jose Huancaya, 91, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 in University Hospital, Newark, NJ.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Cecilia Church, Kearny at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m.

Mr. Huancaya was born in Tarma, Peru. He came to this country and settled in Kearny in 1994.

He worked for Shifman Mattress in Newark for 10 years..

He is survived by his daughter, Carmen Rosado; three sons,  Arturo, Fernando and Pedro Huancaya. He was the brother of Yolanda Huancaya. Jose is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
