Mrs. Jeanette Urbano (Kane), 72, of Passaic, departed suddenly with her husband Salvatore on Saturday April 25, 2009.

Jeanette was born in Jersey City, before moving to Passaic in 1961. She earned a Nursing Degree from the Medical Center Hospital Jersey City School of Nursing. She was employed as a RN at Passaic General Hospital for 30 years before retiring 7 years ago.

Jeanette was a Eucharistic Minister at her parish, Holy Trinity Church in Passaic.

She is survived by her six devoted children. Rose Mary Olcese (Gino), Joseph (Muna), John (Jacqueline), Thomas (Kimberly), Michael and Frank Urbano. She was the sister of Susan Reynolds, Michael Kane (Peggy), John Kane (Judy) and sister-in-law of Rita Kane. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her granddaughter, Mary Faith Urbano.
