Adaljisa (Diaz) Rolon

Adaljisa Rolon, (nee Diaz), 77, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Columbus LTACH in Newark, NJ.

The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Cecilia Church, Kearny at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Ms. Rolon was born in Puerto Rico and has lived in Newark, NJ for the last 18 years.

She was a Cafeteria Worker for the Newark Public Schools for 15 years before her retirement.

Adaljisa is survived by her children, Lucy Castellanos, George Martinez, Angel Martinez and Jose Martinez.

She also leaves behind six brothers and four sisters in Puerto Rico.

Ms. Rolon was the beloved grandmother of eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughter Carmen Cruz.
